Mitchel Dawson

Mitchell started skiing with the club in the jumps and bumps program when he was 7.  Prior to his time at SAFSC, he had completed some lessons at COP.   He competed with the club until he was around 13.  His brother brother continued with the club, progressing onto Team Alberta and now the national team and is currently competing around CAN/US.

 

Mitchell progressed to a coach with SAFSC when he was just 15 - working with our younger kids - and has been a coach with the club ever since.  He is our longest standing coach!

 

He graduated from mechanical engineering last year, and is currently working as a Process EIT at Enerflex.

 

Fun fact - he has 2 cats named Lilly and Marvin.
